Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Slide Maker is made by [DEVELOPER NAME] (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Slide Maker apps for iPhone and Android. The short version: there are no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and your photos, videos and slideshows stay on your phone.
No accounts, ads or analytics
You don’t need an account and there’s nothing to sign in to. The app shows no ads and contains no analytics or tracking. We don’t collect your name, email address or any other personal details through the app.
Your photos, videos and projects
When you add photos and videos to a project, the app copies them into its own storage on your phone so the project keeps working even if you later change your library. Slideshows are put together and rendered on your phone. Nothing is uploaded, and we never see your media or your projects. Deleting a project, or the app, deletes those copies.
Permissions, and what each is used for
- Photos and videos: used to pick the media for a slideshow, and to save the finished video to your library when you tap Save. On iPhone you can give access to selected photos only.
- Microphone: used only when you record a voiceover. The recording is stored in the project on your phone and is never sent anywhere. If you don’t record voiceovers, the app doesn’t need the microphone.
- Files and music: if you add your own music, you choose the file with the system picker; the app copies just that file into the project.
You can turn any of these permissions off at any time in your phone’s settings.
Music catalogue
The app may download the latest list of music tracks and stickers from our website (https://getslidemaker.com). This request contains no personal information. Like any website, our server sees your IP address for the request and may keep it briefly in standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.
Subscriptions
Slide Maker Pro is bought through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, which handle payment. We don’t receive your card details or your name; the app only learns whether your subscription is active. Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies apply to the purchase.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your phone’s settings, Apple or Google may pass us anonymous crash reports (where in the code the crash happened, your device model and OS version). They contain no photos, videos or personal content.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or share your personal data.
- We don’t upload, see or store your photos, videos, recordings or slideshows.
- We don’t track you or show you ads.
Children
Slide Maker isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Because the app keeps your media and projects on your phone, you’re in control of them. If you have any question about your data, or want to exercise your rights under data protection law, email support@getslidemaker.com.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. See also our Terms of Use.
